Character Web

The Character Web gives you a visual map of how your characters relate to each other.

What It Shows

The Character Web is an interactive graph where:

• Each node represents a character
• Lines between nodes represent relationships you’ve defined
• Characters are displayed with their names and colors

How to Use It

1. Navigate to the Character Web view (accessible from the Characters section)
2. Your characters appear as nodes in the graph
3. Relationships defined in character profiles are drawn as connections

Reading the Web

The graph helps you:

• See isolated characters who might need more connections
• Identify central characters with the most relationships
• Spot clusters of related characters
• Ensure your cast has the right balance of connections

Tips

• The more relationship data you add to your character profiles, the richer the web becomes
• Use it during plotting to verify that every character has a role in the story’s social fabric
• Great for catching characters who exist in isolation from the rest of your cast
